My goal is to offer my client a complete and honest evaluation of their property along with the often comforting understanding that while most all homes have defects, most all defects can be repaired.

Service Descriptions

PROactive Sellers Program:

Our PROactive Sellers Program is a service that we are very proud of. We have combined our standard whole house inspection with several innovative marketing components. Armed with the knowledge of the true condition of your property, the ability of your real estate professional and our marketing assistance, your property may very well sell more quickly. The ultimate goal of our PROactive Sellers Program is to give you and your realtor the tools to sell your home in less time and for more money.

The cost of this service -- just a few hundred dollars -- is nothing compared to the nightmare that frequently occurs when families, like yourself, find their dream home, make an offer and lose it all because the buyer's inspector for your current home finds flaws that kills the sale.

When considering the sale of your house, contact the real estate professional of your choice and ask them about our PROactive Sellers Program. We would welcome the opportunity to explain the details of this service to you and your realtor.

Whether or not you use a realtor to sell your home, the PROactive Sellers Program is an outstanding way to help you market the sale of your home.

Buyers Pre-Purchase Home Inspections:

Homebuyers need an unbiased, impartial inspection performed by a professional home inspector so that they can base their purchasing decision on all of the facts. The true condition of the property is very important.  Few homes are perfect and our quality home inspection can provide the information necessary to make an informed decision. The inspection cost is small compared to the peace of mind that can be gained by understanding the true condition of the property.

New Construction Inspections:

Considering the cost of your brand new home, it simply doesn't make sense not to have it professionally inspected. Most home builders are honest business people, but you don't want to risk the largest investment of your life to the word and reputation of a builder that you don't know.

Having your new home inspected offers a baseline for the home warranty inspection that will need to be performed just prior to the expiration of your one-year home warranty, which is usually offered by most builders.

Home warranty inspections

Most brand-new home builders provide homeowners with a 12-month Builder’s Warranty. Ordering an inspection before the warranty expires gives the homeowner a professionally-prepared report to go over with the builder addressing possible issues. If repairs are not needed, it provides peace of mind regarding the quality of the new home.

Maintenance Inspections:

If you have owned your home for several years a home inspection can provide you with valuable information about needed repairs and necessary maintenance. All homes need regular maintenance and a thorough inspection can help protect the value of largest investments. If no serious problems are found, you can relax knowing that you have satisfied the maintenance needs of your home.

If you have particular concerns about your home and only want specific components inspected, please let us know and we can tailor the inspection and the fee to your needs.

Radon Gas inspections:

Having your home tested for radon gas is especially important in this part of the country. The EPA suggests that all homes should be tested for radon. Anderson, Roane and Knox counties are all considered Zone 1 counties which have been found to have a predicted average indoor radon screening level greater than 4 pCi/L (pico curies per liter). See more here.
